Description

Carburetor - Marine Series - 4-Barrel - 600 CFM - Square Bore - Electric Choke - Mechanical Secondary - Single Inlet - Aluminum - Gold Chromate - 1 Each

Designed and calibrated from Edelbrock for use in marine applications, these Edelbrock carbs comply with U.S. Coast Guard safety standards. Cast surfaces are protected by a Chromate conversion coating which is used as a corrosion inhibitor. Other features include modified bowl venting, specially designed throttle shafts, an accelerator pump seal, a 3/8 in. inverted flare fuel inlet fitting, tube in airhorn for fuel pump vent, a 5 1/8 in. flame arrestor flange, a universal throttle lever, and revised secondaries for improved transient performance. Also included with every Edelbrock carburetor are instructions for installation, set up, and basic tuning.

Notes: Designed for marine performance in small-block V8 engines with a variety of manifolds including Edelbrock Performer, Performer RPM, RPM Air-Gap, Torker II and other brands of similar design. Also ideal for Chevy 4.3L V6 engines with a Performer manifold (see Manifold Section) and Calibration Kit #1485. By design, this does not have a fast idle adjustment screw. Warranty

Edelbrock Corporation products are covered by a general warranty that states that their products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The length of this warranty is as follows: Performer series carburetors and Race Division products (90 days), remanufactured carburetors (30 days), Tubular Exhaust Systems and Thunder Series AVS Carburetors (one year), stainless steel exhaust systems (five years), RPM series mufflers/cat-back exhaust systems and IAS strut and shock absorbers (one year warranty; finish and shock boots are not covered), and crate engines (2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first). All warranties are based on the assumption that the product(s) were properly installed, subjected to normal use and service, and that they have not been modified, neglected, or used on racing or competition applications. The warranty covers only the product itself, and not the cost of installation and removal. Edelbrock's warranty card must be completed and received by Edelbrock no later than 30 days from the purchase date to validate the warranty. Cylinder heads must be returned to Edelbrock for inspection before any refund or exchange will be done.
